Flexibility

Where dirt, corrosive gases or other problematic elements occur, fans are exposed to special challenges. Our PRF range was specifically developed for such applications in the food, electronics, medical facilities and chemical industries. With the help of robust and carefully selected components, they operate reliably in unfavorable conditions

Modularity

The rotating position of the unit’s casing, which is made from UV-resistant and waterproof PEs (DN75 PPs-el), can be easily adapted. This makes the PRF suitable for various configurations.

Accessories

PRF fans can be selected together with various types of accessories such as connections, dampers, etc.

Accessories included in AC version in standard:

  • Motor with PTC (DN75 thermocontact)

  • Splinter protection (except DN75)

  • Condensate drain (except DN75)

Accessories included in EC version in standard:

  • Repair switch IP66

  • Splinter protection

  • Condensate drain

Construction

Sintered casing manufactured from UV-resistant PEs (DN75 PPs-el), waterproof. The casing can be turned - standard position: GR360 (DN75 ask supplier when ordering).

 

The pedestal is manufactured of galvanized steel (DN75 pedestal powder coated).

The motor is outside the air stream (standard).

Impeller

The PRF fans use single-flow impellers made of PPs (DN75 PPS-el) with effective blade geometry, dynamically balanced and paired with corresponding external rotor motors, IEC motor with efficiency IE3 or EC Motor.

Motor

PRF fans are equipped with AC or EC motors. Depending on the type, the motors are suitable for 50Hz and 60Hz (ask supplier when ordering).

Motor protection

AC motors have an integrated thermistor PTC (DN75 thermocontact).

Fans with EC motors have integrated electronic thermal protection including locked-rotor protection and soft-start.

Control

AC motors can be controlled by frequency converter.

EC motors can be controlled with potentiometer (as an accessory) to adjust working point. Can be also controlled by external signal 0-10V.

Installation

PRF fans can be used indoors or with specific accessories outdoors. With mounted pedestal can stand on the floor. For preventing vibration to the duct is recommended to use flexible connection.
