The CFC-AS is manufactured from carbon steel sheet. The casing is spot welded and hermitised by polymer sealant.
The CFC-AS is a clean filtering cassette that is used as a terminal device for ventilation with a high-efficiency particulate filter. Available in different sizes, it is designed to provide ventilation in locations with high standards of air cleanness such as surgery rooms, medical intensive care units, laboratories and industrial clean production sites. The CFC-AS can be used for air supply as well as for air extraction.
Its design makes it an adaptable option and suitable for multiple types of ceiling installation. It has a low-height profile for ceilings with limited space. The CFC-AS is made from carbon steel sheet making it robust and durable. The duct connection is rectangular with a flange. The casing is air-tight on the duct connection side as well as on the room side. The air tightness of the casing is tested under static pressures of up to 600 Pa by the soap bubble method, eventually by the smoke method.
