Airtight
The casing is airtight on the duct connection side as well as on the room side. Air tightness is tested under static pressures of up to 600 Pa by the soap bubble method.
The CFC-AGS is a cassette that is used as a terminal device for ventilation with a high-efficiency particulate filter. It is mainly intended for the ventilation of space with requirements for a high grade of air cleanliness like surgery rooms and medical intensive care units, laboratories and industrial clean production sites. It is a highly adaptable option making it suitable for multiple types of ceiling installation. The low height profile makes it suitable for ceilings with limited spaces.
CFC-AGS is made from carbon steel sheet. The casing is spot welded and hermitised by polymer sealant and has a rectangular duct connection. The casing is airtight on the duct connection side as well as on the room side. The air tightness of the casing is tested under static pressures of up to 600 Pa by the soap bubble method, and eventually by the smoke method. The cassette is equipped with a pressure measurement nipple for the measurement of the actual filter resistance.
