High quality, fast delivery

As the largest private hospital in the country, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, India, features 2,600 beds, 534 of which are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 81 speciality departments, 64 state-of-the-art Operation Theatres and ten bunkers for precision-medicine oncology, the first in India. The facility also features a 150-seat, fully residential MBBS program, a Nursing College, and a College for Allied Health Sciences. Additionally, the hospital hosts the largest, fully automated Smart Lab in the country for processing blood and other vital samples.

“The challenge was to match their expectation in terms of delivery on time as the magnitude of this project was on a large scale,” said

Rahul Kumar,
Deputy Manager – Sales, Systemair India

A strong focus on energy efficiency and quality to ensure the health and well-being of patients and medical staff became the guiding principles for the HVAC design of the project. The project required air handling units with heat recovery and air washers. The air handling units had to be equipped with PM 2.5 rated filters to ensure the highest level of indoor air quality in critical areas. Given the project’s stringent timeline, the units needed to be delivered within 6-8 weeks from the manufacturing date with all necessary clearances.
