Life at Systemair
When Karin Wasenius joined Systemair Sweden three and a half years ago, she was looking for a place where she could use her technical expertise and build strong customer relationships. She found much more: a workplace where she feels supported, trusted and encouraged to grow.

As a Technical Sales representative based in southwest Sweden, Karin works closely with installers across the region. No two days look the same. Some are spent in the office, while others are out meeting customers and solving challenges together.
But for Karin, it's not the variety that makes her role special.
"It's never a heavy feeling to go to work," she says. "I really enjoy what I do and the relationships I have with my colleagues and customers."
Ask Karin what she values most about working at Systemair, and her answer is immediate: the people.
"There is always someone willing to help when needed," she explains. "We enjoy working together and have a really good dynamic."
That sense of teamwork is something she believes sets the company apart. Despite being part of a global organisation, she describes the culture as remarkably family-oriented. "My experience is that it mirrors all the way up to the highest level of the company." It is a culture where collaboration comes naturally, where people support each other, and where no one is expected to have all the answers.
I also see that the company offers me opportunities to grow and aim for other roles in the future.
For Karin, joining Systemair felt right from day one. And after taking part in the company's Women Mentorship Pilot programme, she realised just how many opportunities were available.
"I don't just enjoy my work anymore," she says. "I also see that the company offers me opportunities to grow and aim for other roles in the future." Alongside developing her technical expertise, Karin has gained confidence, broadened her perspective and grown as both a professional and a team member.
Her message to anyone considering a career at Systemair is simple: the opportunities are there if you're willing to seize them.
Like many people, Karin balances work with a busy family life. Between her children, bonus children and family dog, flexibility matters. She credits the trust she receives at Systemair as one of the biggest reasons she maintains a healthy work-life balance.
"The flexibility I have is a huge factor," she explains. "The trust I'm given allows me to be present when my family needs me more, and to give more to work in return at other times."
It's a relationship built on mutual trust, something that enables employees to succeed both professionally and personally.
Karin laughs when she shares one final thought, "You know you work at Systemair when you're constantly looking at roofs and tunnel ceilings to see if there's a Systemair fan there."
It's a light-hearted observation, but it reveals something deeper – when you feel connected to what you do and proud of the products and people behind them, work becomes more than a job.
