With more than 30 years of experience in warehousing and logistics, Jonathan has learned that strong businesses are built on more than processes, performance, and results.
They're built on people.
That’s what motivates him every day. Whether he is helping employees develop new skills, solving challenges with his team, or improving the way things work, the greatest reward comes from seeing people grow and succeed together.
"Seeing employees grow, become more confident, and take pride in their work is one of the most rewarding parts of my job."
But it was during one of the most difficult periods of his life that Jonathan truly understood what kind of company Systemair is.
The support I received, both personally and professionally, is something that has stayed with me. It really demonstrated to me that Systemair is more than just a workplace."
In 2025 Jonathan's oldest daughter was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. Critically injured and fighting for her life, she had to be revived during transport to the hospital before doctors placed her in an induced coma and on a life support machine.
For Jonathan and his family, the unthinkable had happened and the days that followed were filled with uncertainty, fear, and worry.
From the very beginning, the Systemair community came together around him. Colleagues, leaders, the CARES Committee, and employees across the business offered support, understanding, and compassion when his family needed it most. What Jonathan experienced went far beyond workplace support.
"The support I received, both personally and professionally, is something that has stayed with me. It really demonstrated to me that Systemair is more than just a workplace."
In that moment, the values Jonathan experienced at work every day – support, respect and care – were the same values that helped carried him and his family through one of the toughest experiences of their lives.
Shortly after joining Systemair, Jonathan realised this was a place where people were encouraged to contribute and improve. His ideas were welcomed, and he was trusted to make meaningful changes.
"It wasn't just about maintaining the status quo. It was about continuously finding better ways to work."
That trust has helped him grow as both a leader and a problem solver. Managing operations across two locations has strengthened his strategic thinking, improved communication across teams, and reinforced a lesson he believes strongly in: long-term success starts with strong teams.
Ask Jonathan what he values most about the people he works with, and his answer comes down to three things: honesty, teamwork, and a willingness to help.
Everyone brings different strengths and experiences to the table. When people communicate openly and support one another, they accomplish far more together than they ever could alone. "I'm fortunate to work with people who genuinely care about doing a good job and helping each other succeed."
That spirit is especially visible during busy periods. When customer demand increases and deadlines are tight – people step up, help wherever they are needed, and focus on achieving a shared goal. "Nobody is afraid to jump in and help," he explains. And it’s that ‘team-first’ attitude that creates both strong results and lasting relationships.
If someone asked Jonathan why they should join Systemair, his answer would be simple, "You'd be joining a company that values people. If you're willing to work hard, learn, and contribute, you'll have opportunities to grow. Your ideas can make a real difference."
At Systemair, careers are about more than professional development. They're about being part of a team that supports your growth, values your contribution, and stands beside you when it matters most.
