Axial jet fan for various temperature ranges and car park applications
Our AJR Series Axial Impulse Jet Fans are designed to optimize sweep ventilation systems while reducing the need for costly exhaust ductwork in enclosed and underground parking garages. By combining airflow, thrust, throw, and induction performance, the AJR Series supports an effective extraction ventilation strategy that helps reduce CO levels more efficiently than traditional garage ventilation systems.
The AJR-B-TR Series is engineered to provide reliable everyday garage ventilation as well as emergency smoke extraction in enclosed and underground parking structures. Designed for life-safety applications, the AJR-B-TR combines high-temperature durability, reversible airflow, and dependable performance to help maintain safe conditions during fire events while providing effective daily ventilation.
Both series address a key challenge associated with axial jet fans: objectionable fan and airflow noise. The AJR Series is engineered to reduce noise while maintaining strong ventilation performance, providing an effective and quieter solution for parking garage applications.
For daily ventilation requirements and optimized construction for Quiet (AJR-Q) operation, rated at 74dBA @ 10ft (355) and 75dBA @ 10ft (400) at maximum thrust.
For daily ventilation requirements and optimized construction for Smoke Extract (AJR-B) operation, rated at 67dBA @ 10ft (355) and 71dBA @ 10ft (400) at maximum thrust.
The AJR Series is ideal for use in enclosed and underground car parks and industrial applications.
Corrosion-proof aluminum impellers or composite impellers, high-efficiency motors and a hot-dip galvanized steel casing ensure high quality and a long life time.
Industry’s first Axial Impulse Jet Fan certified and tested in accordance with the ANSI/AMCA 250 Laboratory Methods of Testing Jet Tunnel Fans for Performance and the ANSI/AMCA 300 Reverberant Room Methods for Sound Testing of Fans.
The AJR-B-TR Series is certified in accordance with UL-705/CSA 22.2-113 - Power Ventilators for Smoke Control for smoke extraction operation at temperatures up to 500°F for 4 hours.

We’ve outlined why the ANSI/AMCA Standard 250-22 is the most accurate 3rd party certification for testing thrust and airflow performance in jet fans.
The casing is made of hot-dip galvanized steel according to ISO 1461 with pre-drilled flanges. The terminal box with IP 65 is mounted outside on the casing.
The AJ jet fans are available for sizes 355 and 400 mm including silencers and protective grids at the inlet and outlet.
The silencers provide integrated inlet cones. The sound attenuating material is non-inflammable according to DIN 4102.
The AJR-Q Series features non-reversible impellers for unidirectional airflow applications.
The AJR-B-TR Series features dynamically balanced, reversible aluminum impellers that meet ISO 21940-11, balancing quality G6.3, with vibration limits in accordance with ISO 14694. The reversible design enables airflow in either direction for both daily ventilation and emergency smoke extraction.
Standard models are driven by three-phase AC motors suitable for 60Hz and optionally for 50Hz.
Motors can be speed controlled by frequency inverter between 10 and 60 Hz.
The pre-assembled galvanized steel brackets ensures an easy and safe ceiling installation.
