Compact and Robust Casing

The Sense QX features a frameless monobloc casing made from 30 mm sandwich panels with mineral wool insulation. Designed for indoor use – durable, quiet and built for long-term reliability.

High-Efficiency EC Fans with Smart Control

Fitted with statically and dynamically balanced EC fans and backward-curved impellers, the unit ensures energy-efficient airflow – precisely regulated via integrated pressure transmitters.

EUROVENT-Certified Heat Recovery

The aluminium counterflow heat exchanger delivers high thermal efficiency. Certified by EUROVENT, with integrated bypass and condensate management for maximum energy recovery and performance.

Advanced Air Filtration for Cleaner Air

ePM1 60 % and ePM10 50 % filters ensure excellent air purity. Pressure sensors continuously monitor clogging levels – keeping the system efficient and maintenance predictable.

Integrated Electric Heaters with Full Safety Monitoring

Optional electric pre- and post-heaters provide precise temperature control. Equipped with solid-state relays, safety thermostats and frost protection for safe, worry-free operation.

The Sense QX is a duct-connected under-ceiling unit designed to deliver quiet, efficient, and evenly distributed fresh air throughout the space. Ideal for classrooms and offices, it combines low-noise operation with smart control and easy maintenance.

Control System

Smart ventilation. Seamless control.

At the heart of the Sense QX is an intelligent control system – fully integrated, pre-wired and ready to go. Operation is simple via the integrated touchscreen. In addition, the system can be connected to a BMS via Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU or BACnet IP.

With the control system, you’re always in control – whether you're on-site, manual or automated, today or tomorrow.

Casing

The unit is compact monobloc with frameless self-supporting construction made of sandwich panels with 30mm thickness. The sandwich panels are made of metal sheets (outer side powder coated / inner side galvanised) and mineral wool with thermal conductivity 0.042 W.m-1.K-1 (EN 12667). The casing is with mounting holders with silent-blocks.

Operating conditions

The unit is designed to be operated at an indoor environment and at an ambient temperature in the range from +5°C up to +40°C, for transporting standard atmospheric air that is free of dust, grease, chemical emissions and other impurities. The unit, when installed in the ducting system has an IP rating of IP20.

Fans

The supply and extract of the unit is equipped with statically and dynamically balanced centrifugal fans with EC motors and backward curved impellers. The fan motors are fitted with maintenance free ball-bearings and thermal protection. Inlets of the fans are fitted with pressure transmitters. 

Counterflow heat recovery core

The unit is fitted with removable an aluminium counterflow desk-plate heat recovery core. The recovery core is EUROVENT certified. The recovery core has an integrated by-pass damper with a servo drive with a fluent control. 
The unit is fitted with a condensate tray at exhaust air (EHA) and with a condensate pump. 

Air filters

The unit is fitted with air filters that are monitored by pressure transmitters for level of clogging. Supply filter class is ePM 1 60% and extract filter class is ePM 10 50%. Filters are to be changed by side / bottom service doors.

Pre-heater / Post-heater

The unit is alternatively fitted with electric pre-heater and/or electric post-heater. 

Integrated electric pre-heater and/or post-heater is fitted with switching elements (SSR) and safety elements protecting against overheating (operational and safety thermostats with manual reset and temperature sensors). 

Temperature sensors:

The unit is fitted with temperature sensors – inlet (ODA), supply (SUP), extract (ETA), exhaust (EHA). The unit has an integrated a multi-stage anti-freeze protection.
