Casing

The compact monobloc unit features a robust, frameless double-layered casing: the outer layer consists of 20 mm mineral wool sandwich panels (λ = 0.042 W/mK), while the inner layer is made of 30 mm melamine foam (λ = 0.034 W/mK) for excellent thermal insulation. Back-draught shutters at the outdoor air (ODA) and exhaust air (EHA) connections prevent unwanted airflow. Maintenance access is simple and safe thanks to a gas-strut-supported service door.

Operating conditions

The unit is designed for decentralized ventilation and to be operated at an indoor environment and at an ambient temperature in the range from +5°C up to +40°C, for transporting standard atmospheric air that is free of dust, grease, chemical emissions and other impurities. The unit, when installed in the ducting system has an IP rating of IP20.

Fans

The supply and extract of the unit is equipped with statically and dynamically balanced centrifugal fans with EC motors and backward curved impellers. The fan motors are fitted with maintenance free ball-bearings and thermal protection. Inlets of the fans are fitted with pressure transmitters.

Counterflow heat recovery core

The unit is equipped with a removable aluminium or enthalpy counterflow plate heat exchanger, EUROVENT-certified for reliable and efficient performance.

An integrated bypass damper with modulating servo drive enables precise airflow control based on operating conditions.

A condensate tray at the exhaust air (EHA) section and a dedicated drainage connection ensure safe moisture management – optionally available with a condensate pump.

Air filters

The unit is fitted with air filters that are monitored by pressure transmitters for level of clogging. Supply filter class is ePM 1 60% and extract filter class is Coarse 60%. Filters are to be changed by bottom service doors. 

Pre-heater / Post-heater

The unit can be equipped with an integrated electric or water-based pre-heater and/or post-heater/cooler to suit various climate control requirements.

Electric heaters feature SSR switching, safety thermostats with manual reset, and temperature sensors for reliable overheat protection.

Water coils are made of high-quality copper tubes with pressed aluminium fins, designed for up to 100 °C and 1.6 MPa. Integrated temperature sensors ensure freeze protection, while the cooling version includes a condensate tray with drainage connection for safe moisture removal.

Temperature sensors

The unit is fitted with temperature sensors – inlet (ODA), supply (SUP), extract (ETA), exhaust (EHA) and for anti-freeze protection of the water coils. The unit has an integrated a multi-stage anti-freeze protection for the heat recovery core and integrated water coil.
