For more than five decades, FAWAZ Trading & Engineering Services Co. has played a defining role in Kuwait’s engineering and building services landscape. From oil and gas facilities and petrochemical plants to commercial buildings and residential developments, the company has supported critical infrastructure across the country with a full spectrum of technical services.
What began as FAWAZ Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Co. has evolved into a multidisciplinary engineering organisation delivering facilities management, procurement, installation and long-term operation and maintenance across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, instrumentation and building management systems. Alongside project execution, FAWAZ also manufactures HVAC air-side ducts and accessories and provides security, safety and vertical transportation solutions.
At the centre of many of these applications is ventilation reliability, an area where FAWAZ works closely with Systemair.

A partnership that evolved with the industry
The collaboration traces back to the company’s early relationship with Matthews & Yates (UK). When Systemair acquired M&Y and transitioned operations to Systemair Germany in 2008, FAWAZ faced a pressing challenge with a large pipeline of ongoing projects combined with strict delivery expectations.
Rather than disruption, the transition became an opportunity.
Systemair supported FAWAZ in fulfilling existing commitments and stabilising supply, allowing projects to continue without delay and helping the company build confidence with clients across Kuwait’s fast-growing construction market.
At that critical moment, Systemair Germany stepped in and supported FAWAZ with fulfilling these orders, helping us complete every commitment on time. Their support also enabled us to build strong new relationships and start a new chapter for the Kuwait market.

FAWAZ and Systemair delivered safety-critical ventilation solutions for a demanding project in Kuwait, meeting Kuwait Fire Force approval while working against tight inspection deadlines. Careful technical selection enabled consultant approval for specialised explosion-proof and smoke control fans required for workshop environments, ensuring the project stayed on track and strengthened the client relationship.
