    The Firs, located near Oxford, is a purpose-built luxury car showroom developed for renowned dealer Tom Hartley Jnr. The site, formerly a garage, has been redeveloped to create a high-end space designed to display and store classic and supercars.

    Design tailored to site constraints

    Due to restricted access and limited installation space, the air handling units were specially designed to be delivered in flat-pack form and assembled on site. This approach enabled efficient installation without compromising system performance.

    Systemair UK worked in close partnership with Darke & Taylor’s design team throughout the project, ensuring that all systems were aligned with the technical and operational requirements of the showroom.

    About the project

    Given the nature of the vehicles and the premium environment required, the project demanded a carefully designed ventilation solution that would maintain optimal indoor conditions while integrating seamlessly within a constrained building layout.

    Systemair UK worked closely with Darke & Taylor from the initial design phase through to delivery, providing a tailored solution to meet both performance requirements and on-site installation challenges.

    Flexible AHU solution for premium environments

    Systemair UK supplied four Geniox air handling units, complete with matching condensers and integrated control systems. These systems were designed to work together to provide a controlled indoor environment suitable for both vehicle preservation and customer comfort.

    The air handling units were selected and configured to deliver reliable performance within a high-specification commercial environment. Their adaptable design allowed them to be modified for flat-pack delivery and reassembly, addressing logistical challenges without impacting quality or efficiency.
