Role and responsibilities

Systemair has demonstrated strong growth through both organic investments and acquisitions, driven by a clear customer value proposition and a competitive product and solutions portfolio.

Strategic product management is central to fostering growth and ensuring an attractive, competitive offering for our customers. To further enhance this function, Systemair will recruit a commercially driven Product Area Director, responsible for product management and business development within heavy duty fans and industrial fan applications.

The location for this position is flexible throughout Europe, but preferably close to one of our Systemair offices. You will report to the Vice President Products and Technologies.

About the Role

This role is crucial for driving growth and strengthening our leadership in industrial fan solutions. As Product Area Director at Systemair, your responsibilities include: 

Market Research & Customer Insight

  • Identify customer needs and market trends to develop competitive, customer-centric product and solution offerings

  • Turn customer insights into comprehensive, market-driven product portfolios in collaboration with all Systemair sites

Portfolio & Product Strategy Execution

  • Align internal stakeholders and resources to develop, position, and successfully launch new offerings, ensuring excellent customer experience

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, customise messaging with marketing teams, support digital tool development, and secure investment to ensure profitable growth and ongoing competitive advantage

Commercial Growth & Go-to-Market

  • Drive organic growth and change through targeted business development activities within assigned product or geographic areas by optimizing portfolios for specific markets and preventing channel conflicts

  • Optimise pricing and route-to-market strategies, working closely with sales teams, product management, and global pricing functions

Industry experience with Fans or related products is highly valued. A relevant degree (preferably BSc/MSc in engineering, marketing, or business) and solid experience in commercial development or product management (B2B/B2B2C) are needed in this role. Strong leadership, analytical, and commercial skills are also essential.

Excellent English and proficiency in ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office are mandatory. Experience with Infor M3 and Qlik Sense is a plus.
