The current for 230 V EC fans is corrected so it displays the actual load.
Pressure drop for plate heat exchanger is calculated in dry conditions, and text in printout is updated to show this.
Topvex SoftCooler SR and TR is activated in SystemairCAD again.
When a unit is calculated it is remembered that it is calculated. So, a user can switch between Result, Energy and Drawing displays without the program recalculating. If the user changes any values the program needs to calculate again.
In the optimization dialog you can now see if the units are Ecodesign approved.
Ecodesign calculation error
We have seen some cases where Ecodesign calculation have failed, where we manually could calculate that it should not have failed. The problem has occurred with uneven airflows, where the extract fans failed calculation in a working point where it did not need to be calculated. We have optimized the calculation to only calculate the functions that need to be calculated in each working point.

New EC Bluefin fans
All EC Blue fans have been replaced with new EC Bluefin fans. The new EC Bluefin fans comes with the new ZA bluefin composite wheel from Ziehl Abegg. The new EC Bluefin fans has better efficiency than the old fans with lower SFP values as a result.
Geniox casing is updated to leakage class L1

Geniox size 22 to 31 will use full posts on all sides of all casings. This will increase the strength of the casings. This also means that for each casing split there is in the unit the length of the unit will increase by 82 mm.
Selection of rotary heat exchanger is changed, so the selection is A, B, C and D.
Recuperator DLL is updated for plate heat exchangers.
Plate heat exchangers is changed in some sizes as Recuperator have removed some unit types from their product range.
The internal control system can be placed next to the heat exchanger in upper airflow in addition to the already known placements.
Corrections in sound data, rotary heat efficiency and power consumption were done due to Eurovent test results.
Coils capacity and pressure drop degrades due to Eurovent test result.
Run around coils with uneven airflows has been corrected, so Ecodesign calculation don’t fail when it should not fail.
Currency ratio changed for Norwegian marked, and limits for exchange ratios is removed.
The Geniox Units is now produced in Denmark, Lithuania and Spain. SystemairCAD have therefore been setup so internal Systemair users can select units from both Denmark and Spain (Geniox-1) or Lithuania (Geniox-2). The split between Geniox-1 and Geniox-2 has been made to ease Eurovent certification processes.
Calculation of Geniox units with controller ready is updated so it will not fail with certain damper combinations.

In this version Geniox units from Lithuania is available.
In version C2018-12.05.C5 all cooling coils was by mistake named Softcooler. They are now again named cooling coils.
Total dimensions are for the unit again, duct connections is not included in total dimensions.
Cooling coil calculation re-installed
Section defrosting can now be selected with control system.
Revit export. We have had many problems with the Revit export, therefore the Revit export function was remanufactured. This should fix some of the problems we have had with Revit export, and also give us better changes to fix problems that should turn up.
Rules for control systems in DV is updated, because with the new Access control system we no longer need to have all control system components in one casing. Therefore we can now add control system to units in divided sections.
Heat pump calculation is improved, so we can calculate heat pump only in summer mode.
Topvex with counter flow heat exchanger has changed text for pressure drop. It now states “Pressure drop at actual density”.
When calculating energy labels for units with EC-Blue fans, we have been using wrong power consumption, so SystemairCAD have been displaying a lower energy class then the unit actually was. This have been corrected so we now display the correct energy class.
Control system do not support LON as external communication. LON is removed as an option.
DV mixing units could not calculate in C3 release. This is fixed so units can calculate again.

A new function will now open the home page with the Release notes the first time a new version of SystemairCAD is launched.
If you don’t want to see the Release notes every time you launch SystemairCAD, you can unselect it in the dialog box.
For Geniox products, a section de-frosting system can now be selected for all plate heat exchangers.
The section de-frosting system will detect when ice is starting to build up in the extract airflow, and it will close dampers section by section to allow de-frosting in 25 % of the heat exchanger while the resting 75 % is working normally.
A new airflow diversion section is introduced in Geniox Comfort and Geniox Go.
The airflow diversion section will divert the upper airflow to lower airflow and lower airflow to upper airflow.
The coil calculation is improved for all unit types.
If values are selected (Finn spacing, Numbers of rows etc.) then the coil will be selected and calculated with these values.
The export file dialog is updated so it is possible to select which units you want to export to Revit or as dxf files.
When a corse filter is inserted in the extract airflow a new “Metal mesh filter” can now be selected. The new filter can be used to filter Fat from the airflow.
Selection of electricial coils is changed so selection of steps are fixed.
Also if capacity is selected in a dropdown boks of fixed capacities.
As a new option 3 x 400 V modulat coils can be selected for units without control system.
Connection for smoke bypass is opened up for crossflow heat exchangers, in the same way as it works for counter flow heat exchangers.
Error with efficiency values for crossflow heat exchangers with uneven airflow is corrected so the correct efficiency values now is showing.
There have been an error in sound breakout calculation for units with heat pumps. The sound breakout was set to the noise level of the heat pumps without casing attenuation.
This is corrected so internal noise level first is calculated and then casing attenuation is added.
The control system for Geniox Comfort single flow units is updated so it use the same control system platform as we have used for bi-directional units.
An error marked all heating coils as stock coils. This is fixed so only stock coils are marked as stock coils.
Calculating change over coils resulted in an error stating that too many rows was requered, even when the result was in the range of coils defined. This errow is fixed so the error messages don’t appear when it should not.
Sections length for Electrical heating coils is corrected.
More efficient plate heat exchangers are added for Geniox size 22 to 31. This is done by adding a new type A and moving the old Type A and B down and removing the old type C.
If more efficient plate heat exchangers are needed for Geniox size 10 to 20, we recommend selecting the counter flow heat exchanger.

One of the first Geniox units was sold in Belgium. It was a Geniox Comfort 10 DL with controls and integrated heat pump.
We have added the Bitumen membrane roof as an option for Geniox Comfort
Stacked units with Polyvinyl chloride or Bitumen membrane roof don’t need to be square anymore. In the stacked units there are space between upper and lower airflow, so there are space for the roof.
Double high units with middle panels still need to be square when there are roof on them.
Double high casing
Smoke bypass can be selected in counter flow heat exchangers for Geniox Comfort.
It will then be delivered with a round hole for the smoke bypass connection.
Dampers for smoke bypass will not be delivered with the unit.
If inspection windows is added in accessory lists they are now displayed on the drawing.
Various small errors are fixed.
There are a couple of Control system updates for Geniox Comfort.
In control system dialog a new option is added “Special features”
When “Special features” is selected, some of the control system options are disabled.
Special features must be approved by Systemair production site.
The error in filter pressure drop is fixed, so filters will again get the correct filter pressure drop.
An error is fixed so prices can be calculated with both Geniox Comfort and Geniox Go in same file.
Change in fin space for coils
If fin spacing was changed by user, a stock coil could be selected with a fixed fin space. This is fixed so if the user changes the fin space a coil with that given fin space will be selected.
Windows 10 has caused many problems in the first versions of SystemairCAD2.0. We have been working intense to solve the issues, but it is very hard to put a finger on the problem. Some of the problems is also out of our reach, we cannot make Microsoft or Intel change drivers or safety settings.
The problems are combinations of many factors.
The Intel HD Graphics chip has a very poor performance in SystemairCAD, and it is only the Intel HD graphics cards we had reports about poor performance. We introduced a new feature, where you are able to activate and deactivate the air handling unit casing on the 3D model (Function described below).
You should be able to increase the performance by deactivating the casing. The casing is deactivated by default.
We also seen some calculation issues related to the user settings in Windows10, especially for users running in a domain. The user safety features are updated significantly from Windows 7. We experience that user running with a strict safety setup in Windows 10 will have some problems running some of the calculation modules in SystemairCAD. We are working hard to solve the problems, but it is very complex and it is hard to find the exact problem.
It can also cause a problem if the SystemairCAD is installed on the client from an Administrator account. The SystemairCAD should always be installed from the client account using the program.

The feature is implemented to increase the 3D performance of computers running with a Intel HD graphics card. Go to the menu … / Options / Options.
Select “Case selection active”.
The casing is inactive as default. Now the casing cannot be selected by pointing the mouse directly on the post of the casing.
The Casing Data dialog has to accessed by selecting in the Tool box.
Manual casing, Divide section and Combine sections can be selected from the right click menu, when the casing is deactivated.
We have located and corrected a calculation error in the energy class calculation.
A new controller ready function is introduced for the control system.
With the controller ready option all the cabling is done from each component to a central control cabinet. The customer can then add a control system of there own chose.
With control system the supply fan and extract fan must be of same type. The selection is now changed so if the fan type is changed in one airflow, the fan type is automatically changed in the other airflow also.
There have been an error in calculation of sound break out. The error is corrected and it result in slightly higher sound break out values.
The flowchart with plate heat exchanger is updated so the damper is now placed in the correct airflow in the drawing.
It is now possible to select a painted base frame for Geniox Comfort.
There have been an error in the summer calculation for plate heat exchangers, where it was using winter inlet values for summer mode. This have been fixed so the correct summer inlet values are used now.

From SystemairCAD version C2017-11.01.B1 the printout will be marked with the word “expired” and the date of expiration when a newer version is released.

We have seen load problems for DLL on some PC.
It have manly been on Windows 10 PC where 3T coil DLL and Klingenburg counter flow DLL could not be loaded.
We have made some changes to the installation procedure that should fix the DLL load problems.
The Release notes have moved and we have updated the link to the release notes so it opens correctly again.
We have added updates to the language database so we have more translation and texts will display in the correct language. We are still working to get all languages updated.
Order numbers will now be printed on all pages, when a project is given a order number.
