Navitas at the waterfront in Aarhus is the city’s new epicentre for energy, innovation, research and education.
The goal with the construction of INCUBA Navitas has been to create a unique community for education and research combined with businesses within energy and innovation. The new building is a so-called low energy building in energy class 1. The result is a setting with international magnetism.
More than 2 300 students, teachers and researchers from Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering and part of Aarhus University School of Engineering can now be found at the new location which covers a total of 35 000 m2. The building was designed by architecture firm Kjaer & Richter and the consulting engineer on the project was Alectia.
