How it all began

With a total built-up area of 157,000 m2, Marsa Arabia Resort was designed to be a 5-star Hotel Apartments and Residence with resort amenities, offering views of the crystal-blue Persian Gulf. The resort is located on Marsa Arabia Island, which is formed and surrounded by stone and accessible by a bridge from the Porto Arabia Retail District to the west.

The project required a complete car park ventilation system that will ensure reliable operations and meet the requirements of local codes and the facility's world-class standards. The project was initiated in the last quarter of 2019 and had strict delivery timelines.

Systemair had to tackle competitor prices, which was a challenge. The company was eventually awarded the contract based on the available product range's technical compliance and innovative features.

The solution

Systemair supplied the project with the following:

  • AXC 900 2-speed fans

  • AJR 400 2-speed Jet fan (28.3/1.7kW)

CO control system (MSR brand)

  • 3 nos. GDC-06 CO control panel

  • 65 nos. of CO detectors
