Fast-track delivery to meet the approval deadline

All ventilation systems were manufactured, supplied and delivered within a compressed schedule aligned with pre-booked Civil Defence inspection dates.

Explosion-proof safety compliance

Careful technical selection and justification enabled consultant approval of specialised explosion-proof and smoke control fans required for workshop environments.

Proven reliability and client confidence

Successful performance and delivery strengthened the client relationship and led to interest in future projects using Systemair solutions.

The Al Sayer Garage Car Service & Maintenance Centre is an industrial facility developed for Mohammed Naser Al Sayer & Sons in Shuwaikh Industrial Area, Kuwait. FAWAZ Trading & Engineering Services Co., in collaboration with Systemair, supplied the ventilation fan systems for the project.

As an automotive service and maintenance facility, the site required specialised ventilation and safety solutions, including smoke exhaust and fresh air systems as well as explosion-proof equipment suitable for workshop environments. At the same time, the project had to meet Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) approval requirements, creating both technical and logistical challenges under a compressed delivery schedule.

Meeting a fixed approval deadline

The project followed a strict fast-track schedule, with the Civil Defence inspection date already booked in advance. Meeting this deadline was critical for project approval and required accelerated manufacturing, coordination and delivery.

Through close cooperation, FAWAZ and Systemair completed the supply within the required timeframe, achieving one of the shortest delivery periods for a project of this type while maintaining compliance and operational reliability.

Global supply coordination

To meet both timeline and cost expectations, Systemair mobilised its global production network. Fans were sourced from multiple manufacturing locations based on availability and performance requirements, allowing parallel production and competitive delivery.

The project included AXC series (AXC-B) units from Systemair Malaysia (46 units), K series units from Systemair Sweden (6 units), MUB units from Systemair Germany (2 units), and one MUB-EX explosion-proof unit from Systemair Germany.

Together, the solution incorporated smoke exhaust fans, smoke fresh air fans, multi-box fresh air fans and explosion-proof units designed specifically for workshop safety environments. Coordination between regional Systemair teams ensured both timely supply and competitive execution.

Technical approval and compliance

Selecting the correct fan configuration, particularly the explosion-proof units, required detailed technical justification and close coordination with the consultant to secure approval. The combined technical expertise of FAWAZ and Systemair played a key role in achieving acceptance.

As a result, Kuwait Fire Force approval requirements were successfully met, and Systemair products received renewed approval for two years as part of the process.

Mohammed Naser Al Sayer & Sons formally expressed strong satisfaction with the performance and reliability of the Systemair fans and the overall project delivery. The successful execution strengthened the relationship between FAWAZ and the client, who has indicated interest in future design collaborations. The project demonstrated how product quality, regulatory compliance and rapid delivery together contributed to a successful outcome and long-term partnership.
