Systemair Residential Air Handling Units first out to be Eurovent certified
As of the 26th of January this year, Systemair’s residential airhandling units are the first on the European market to be approved by Eurovent’s certification program Residential (RAHU).
The certificate ensures that the product's performance and capacity is in accordance with the information given by the manufacturer. Eurovent is the leading certification company for ventilation and cooling products. The RAHU-certification is in accordance with the testing standard EN13141-7:2010 and tests among other things:
- Sound levels
- Energy consumption
Advantages with Eurovent-certification
Eurovent buys products on the open European market as it is important for them to measure units in serial production. “As manufacturer, it is of the highest importance that our customers can trust that our products perform what we promise they will, and the Eurovent certification can further ensure this,” says Tobias Sagström, Product Manager for Residential Products.
The target for Eurovent’s certification program is to verify the performance stated by the manufacturer by third-party testing. By using certified products in the constructions, the constructors’ task is made easier as detailed comparisons and qualified testing is no longer required. Consultants, engineers and users can choose a product and trust that the catalogue data is correct.
Additional customer benefits are:
- No unnecessary risks – only use products that are guaranteed to perform as documented
- Well-functioning system – guaranteed capacity and performance
- Safer calculations – no surprises in the energy consumption
